Sustainability is an important part of who we are as a company. We have been able to join forces with experienced growers that are conscious about the environment and who take an educative approach to develop environment-friendly approaches.

• We apply Crop Rotation to reduce reliance on one set of nutrients and to develop resistance for pests and weeds.

• We constantly encourage our growers to transition from open field growing practices and invest in greenhouse and shade houses to create longer plant cycles and reduce waste.

• We use drip irrigation systems in our fields in order to save water.

• We properly plan out our growing program to ensure all the produce that is grown is harvested and consumed.

• We encourage our growers to reduce soil tillage, implement and manage irrigation to reduce runoff, and use row cover to keep soil covered.

• We recycle and use recycled cardboard in our packaging.

• We partner with retailers that are committed to using reusable containers.

• We comply and up to date with the California Low-Emissions Vehicle Program.

• We're proud to have a zero emissions warehouse.
